Oh Shawna! The pictures are so amazing! Mike & I are so impressed and couldn't have asked for anything better! We cannot wait to see what you do with our wedding pics; we know they'll be great! Getting busy!
Hello all, I've been slow this winter, but things are starting to pick up. I also have some new shoot pics to post for baby Colbie's 3 month pictures, a puppy shoot, and a few of my daughter, Jorie. I love, love, love infant shots! I have two in the near future along with a family shoot and a wedding (in the Bahamas). This has been such a fun path for me to take and a true passion. I'm learning a lot, have attended a few seminars, and am ready to learn more. I've joined a photography club as well and in March, I'll be starting a series of seminars to better my education in the world of photography. Right now, I'm saving for a new lens and look forward to purchasing some back drops and lighting for the winter months...when taking wee ones outside isn't possible.
Photography is a true passion for me and I can't wait to learn more. I've also contacted a tutor for some photoshop help. Editing plays a big role in this profession. I doubt there's a photographer out there that doesn't "retouch" their photos. Some future ideas: I'd like to create a working website, get business cards and flyers ordered, set my price lists, and maintain my clientele.
I'm a busy bee and love it. My three amazing kids are awesome, my husband is so supportive. He doesn't know it yet, but eventually he's going to be my "right hand man." I can see me dragging him along to shoots with me; he's got the eye for sure. I hope this business grows and that someday this will become another possible career path for me.
